"I've heard about the Beacon Hills pack...they say that the pack has an archer who never misses, and a firestarter who is immune to an Alpha's bite; that of the humans who fight alongside tooth and claw, the most dangerous is a boy with a name no one knows, who bears a red standard-"
omg I am in the middle of exams and I literally just worked five hours on this for no reason other than I really felt like it.
A sort of meeting of two fics I've read recently that both feature bamf!humans. The brilliant quote above being from the amazing Hide of a Life War and the weaponry choice and position of characters (except I stuck Derek in there) from a scene from the brilliant series Wolf Whistle.
I've been affectionately calling these three the "squishies" in my head because clearly I read too much fic, but yeah, Teen Wolf humans are boss okay. Also Wolf!Derek, because, well, this was originally going to be just Sterek but then girl power so.
Playing with shading and colour because that's a really good idea when you're supposed to be studying. (AHH I HATE MYSELF)
There's another story on Ao3 that has a quote that just made me think of this story.... its almost the same. "A Hunter who never missed a target, and fought against other Hunters with the Pack; a witch with penchant for flames, and Immunity from all things Change; and a nameless one, a strange one, a full-human who wore a cloak of Red like the Old Tale, and still ran, fought, howled just like Pack." The Title is There I Was by atsuyuri_sama. It was so perfect for this picture.
You know what I love best about this show? Stiles is a nerd with adhd and no sense of proportion or self-preservation, Lydia judges herself by how boys see her obsessively and Allison is terrified of being weak, but the three of them are so very kickass- they're so strong, even when they're standing next to these supernatural creatures, even when they're so flawed, especially being so flawed, and I just love them so much, and this picture is so awesome.
SO awesome! I'm glad you worked on it instead of studying for exams! Err, sort of.
